Those guns are highly practical. They can do absolutely nothing or pretty much anything depending on what the story asks of them, and look reasonably cool doing it either way.

3) Why are “pure mindforms” not maintainable on a planet with many other minds? This is not properly explained.
Next a new chapter to continue the fight? That’s a stupid choice T… But still good story so far. Just feels like your ending it too soon to get to a new thing. Cause who knows where the next chapter will go.

Wasn’t it already explained that they infiltrate and supplant the inhabitants of other worlds as part of their reproductive cycle, hence “cuckoos”?

If all you are is your mind and there a lot of other active minds around you sooner or later you start to blur and blend. you loose tract of were you end and others begin. like how the general tried to kill alucard by making him lose sight of himself. in order to survive that alcuard heard to turn upon himself and devour his own lives until he was only one life that one werewolf schoter who was everywhere and nowhere. the poison that had been slipped into his blood had become the flesh of his new being. but I’m rambling now.
You really think that Di is trying for a plan that complex with someone she doesn’t know and has never even really communicated with at all? Come on. In fact, nobody on the team knows enough of what’s going on to make a shot for that kind of thing.
Remember, Di doesn’t know what’s going on in DC right now. Most likely, her plan is to try and make sure that the Cukoos get as much negative attention as possible, and if Link weren’t already exposed dropping that fight right outside the white house would certainly help put him on the spot. Definitely don’t see any reason to think they’re trying to get Rumy involved.

On the other hand, Adyr, there has been time for Di to be party to plans and backup plans. And she definitely seems like she’s baiting Wheaties.
Even if her plan is a straight up fight with Wheaties, she just might be banking on making the Hand look bad by the fact that Wheaties would be killing a woman in public.

I don’t see any time or ability for any other plans to be made, at least by her.
