Whenever I hear Dotty speak I hear Ralph Wiggum’s voice. Am I the only one?
So it comes down to Donna and now Hilda killing Mech-Tech in cyberspace or Dotty figuring out how to jam her ability to jump into another body. I’d have more faith in the former, but the power of cliche tilts this toward Dotty’s savant skills saving the day at the last minute.
Does anyone remember True Names? Cloud may have been smart and powerful, but he was only a small handful of days old. Not surprising that a much more experienced Mech-Tech could handle him.
Some Guy, me thinks we’re seeing an extension of Hilda’s ability of astral traveling. If I’m not mistaken, she’s now a literal ‘ghost in the machine’ (although I’ve been known to make mistakes in the past)
Donna got in there because of her control over energy fields. It’s allowed her to ‘interface’ with the electrical fields of machines enough to deal with Mechatech on her own turf.
Hilda’s there because of her ability to hop through comic panels. It may be cyberspace, but it’s still a comic panel. Therefore…
Also, Donna got the ability to hop between dimensions from Gorzynski (along with Xi’s energy manipulation), so it makes sense that she can get in there.
