Some people find it a lot easier to be hyper calm in the presence of someone who’s clearly overreacting. I do it all the time. Shanna’s doing the upset for him. Her hurt is more important to him than his right now. If she had been two calm, too reassuring, he may have been much more upset.
I like how calm Will is.
“Well, darn. They’re trashing my reputation across the whole country… Oh well, can’t do anything about it. Hm. Wonder what’s for dinner?”
Will’s just being levelheaded being able to control that anger. I do love that about the guy.
