I’m hoping Rikk and the guys told Jared about their last stand against Maximiliana. Especially the part about Mr. Harry Scott’s failed kamikaze attack.
Yeah… There’s more to Jared’s plan then we know… Not until after it wins will we have a full idea of what he planed for and what he didn’t. That’s what I’m thinking and until this all blows up in his face I’m still going to thing Jared’s going to win this!
Isn’t it obvious? Jared’s blowing ulty’s MIND. Hyperman/Ultraman was NOT expecting to be “Welcomed” at all-fought, sure-but I suspect his invulnerability is probably based more on “Expecting a fight”-ie telekinetic rather than material, I suspect Jared’s thought of this too-so distract the guy, crack his concentration, and maybe the weapons will do the job, and nothing’s going to distract a non-human-playing-pretend like saying “FINALLY YOU”RE HERE!!!”
@tbf: I’m pretty sure Jones was named after Tommy Lee Jones and inspired by his character in Men in Black (with a little Cigarette-Smoking Man from The X-Files thrown in). Mist, I don’t know.

I always thought of Jared as will smith and this has proved it cuz they are both bad ass!
Same here. I’ve been wondering if Jones and Mist were based on or inspired by anyone in particular.
Hyperman:ENOUGH.
Jared: Just barely, yes.
If Hyperman or Ult could burrow through concrete then I doubt a bunch of grenades are going to do much.

It was a valiant way to go down Jared, but 2 seconds is an awful lot of time for a guy like Hyperman.

So this is going to be a war of attrition. How many characters will have to sacrifice themselves before they take out the Hand one by one?
I’m thinking when all said and done there’ll be two old faces and one new. And everyone else, gone.
