I absolutely love the interaction between Will and Shanna here. And, even though it would’ve been understandable, I’m really glad there’s no tension at the moment about the whole possible future where he dies and she hooks up with Marc. Of course they could just be more concerned right now with what on earth they are going to do with these visitors.
Time wars are automatically ontological mysteries for the exact reasons you show in this strip. Kudos on still being the smartest long-arc comic in the webcomic biz.
(As a Christian who believes Revelation is future history, I take my time wars VERY seriously.)
I think Will would want Shanna to be happy following his death so I don’t see him having a problem with a future relationship with Marc. While I’ve seen enough of Ar-ra’d the Next Generation to believe they are from the future Shanna and Will are understandably skeptical.
Yeah… Time War’s are hard to deal with. But they did so called murryproffed this plan, so they should come around to beliving the Future Five soon enugh to save Humanity!
I like that time travel is so blase in this universe that there are plans in place for it and we can immediately jump to the implications of this particular group and not of time travel itself.
I say we kill them all, just to be sure. Except the black guy, he seems legit. And I guess you’d have to spare his woman, too. But the rest, well, you can never be too safe.
