These guys forgot that Aegis tracks timetravelers? And this is the first time that they even considered being tracked, after they made contact with their freaking general!???
I mean, really…what time traveler walks up to his target’s front door, knocks, and asks for his target by name, as if he was going to, I dunno, terminate them or something?
i doubt if Shannon is using leather ordnance to subdue the intruders at this point anyway. they just don’t want to be attacked on their blind side again.
@ Cronomatt: They didn’t forget — that’s why they had the tachyon dampeners. And once they contacted Aegis it was no longer an issue that Aegis could track them, though Aegis having awareness that they’re time travelers might be.
Shanna is in a “shoot first and ask questions later” mood, and so is Will, because the first time they met time travelers, the travelers attacked them for no reason. The same can be said of many of the strange things they’ve encountered. Shanna’s shooting to stun (note that Guth, Dotty, and TW will be fine), but she’s not giving them a chance to make the first move.
