    Jobs has been utterly inappropriate, this whole arc.

    And apparently I’m denser than Laura right now, because I can’t read between the lines of what Rikk is saying at all. Laying /what/ on thick?

    Rikk is trying to let everybody know that Will is now in charge, has his full confidence, and that Will has just proven he can do the job. This is his way of saying all of that without directly saying it.
    Rikk is about as subtle as the mild odor of a decaying whale carcass.
