The CSI: Miami theme song is “We Don’t Get Fooled Again” by The Who.

I had to look this up.

Too many CSI jokes around the nets these days. Ah well I guess some fads are just fads that you have to miss.

One reference to an intro to CSI MIami and they burst into laughter in the middle of a briefing?!?!

…..Real mature guys. These are supposed to be our REAL protectors? Were screwed.

It’s the old “do as I say/don’t do as I do” gag.

The “Do as I say, not as I do” bit was funny, but what really made me laugh was Marc’s “I R SRS NOW” front in the last panel. Especially the “ma’am” part. XD

Nice… Very nice. Link’s powers I’m better are NOT going to get shown or wont be clear in this storyline… I bet!

heh i have to agree it is kind of funny. one person says no CSI jokes, another says i sang that theme song ones then the briefing withing meaning to mentions the theme song ins question. i’m guessing he was doing it right before the fist panel picked up to make it so funny.

    I think they’re referencing this.

I guess you could say they’re… *puts on sunglasses*
    ballsy.

Also Link obviously has the Master Sword, and hookshot, and bombs. But seriously, I think it might have something to do with telepathy. Great ability for the “voice” of the HoJ.

I still think they underestimate the threat that is The Lost California Raisin Band Member.

Also, I bet Link’s ability has something to do with crosshatching. It has to be. He has to be Crosshatch Man, he just HAS to be.

I guess that, despite the government sponsorship and training, the kick-ass uniforms and the cool sci-fi gadgets, the heroes in this strip are still geeks after all, huh? That’s a relief.

I like Rumy’s expression. Cultural reference point failure.
