Is this a chance to share my genuine fanboyism of Shatner’s musical stylings? Is it?!
Because, if so, I am SO linking you all to his rendition of “Space Truckin’ “. SO GOOD.
Now that people have had a little time, hopefully we’ll start getting remakes that do more than just replace the script with stuff that’s unrelated to Fans. As “funny” as these rewrites are.
You two do realize what a “remixed comic” or “strip manip” is, don’t you? There are no limits on the approach, other than that set by the person in charge. And that would be T, not you. And T didn’t say anything about how the manips had to be within Fans continuity.
So how about we quit knocking the contributions of other readers who may not be as “too cool for school” as you but at least got off their butts and created something?
StopHavingFunGuys, stop having fun making others stop having fun. I normally try to encourage readers to be nice to each other, but if you take the stage on open mike night, you got to expect a little razzing from the crowd.
(This is also why I haven’t added any signatures or attributions to the work– the authors can speak up if they wanna.)
Ehh, I got nothin’ to hide. I did the first and third ones. I just now realized that I misspelled “Resistance” in the latter, but I can live with it. Maybe it even makes it a little funnier.
You don’t like the way I do manips, buddy, we can settle this in person. Just be warned that when attacked I curl up in the fetal position and cry like a little girl.
And I did this one. White-knighting on my behalf, while well-intentioned, is unnecessary because I’ve had much worse said to me than that my manip wasn’t funny or in continuity. (I do think, FTR, both of Pink’s are funnier than mine.)
So bring it. When attacked, I hug and make little heart icons like this: ♥♥♥. CAN YOU FEEL MY LOVE CRUSHING YOU?
