No, power. The power that draws from the Universal Life Force. The power that fuels… Ubermench!!!!!

Sorry: it’s the sudden appearance of the forelock that set that off.

No, it signifies steroid use, or generally, the willingness to use performance-enhancing drugs. Which means that Zachary just made the grade. 😛

It amuses me to contemplate the wisdom of choosing ‘Dare’ given the rest of the range of possibilities.

“Yes! I choose Dare, brimming with confidence! I can and will seduce this woman I’ve been dared to, because I have the newfound confidence and intelligence to do so!”

“Yes! I choose Dare, brimming with confidence! I can and will stick my hand into this flask of acid, because I have the newfound confidence and intelliwaitaminute.”

…by which reasoning, if he only has high confidence to do risky things without the mental ability to effectively judge between options, then this attempt of his will probably fail dismally anyway… unless confidence by coincidence happens to be enough on its own… or the web represents him being able to tell what they would dare, and so choosing it as a good choice deliberately… given the premise, probably no problem either way. *curiosity about whether the effect on the individual is temporary or permanent*

That drug seems to have put Zachary in a heightened state of Peter Parker resemblance.
