Clever, though. Just imagine Dr. “Seduction of the Innocent” Wertham actually sticking up for superhero comics!
The focus appears to be on how some trends accelerate and others slow down as a result of the events in 2 of [recalculating]. This may be more fun than the usual alt-histories we see in the comics, which seem to focus on putting character X through a different set of paces. I recall reading that Ditko left Amazing Spider-Man because of a debate simiilar to the one in the last panel.
Oh god. I do NOT want a universe where Steve Ditko taught Objectivism to three generations of Americans.
EML: Relax. When push came to shove before, Kirby and Ditko left and Lee stayed. So let’s see what happens when Stan Lee’s marketing mania gets boosted by this new public support.
